The comparison at a glance

Prices are the US dollar amounts on QR TIGER's pricing page on September 25, 2026. The page has a monthly and yearly toggle, but the yearly price of the Regular plan was not readable in the version we checked, so we leave it out. Professional and Enterprise plans are handled through QR TIGER's support team and are not listed here.

The differences that matter

• The free plan has a scan cap per code: 500 scans on each of the 3 free dynamic codes. QR TIGER's FAQ also says ads are displayed when people scan codes generated with the free version. On a busy counter or a poster, 500 scans can go quickly.
• Codes per dollar at entry level: 12 dynamic codes for $7 on Regular, 25 for $9 on QRTada Starter. Scans are unlimited on both paid entry plans.
• Billing rhythm: QR TIGER's FAQ states Advanced and Premium are paid yearly. Every QRTada plan can be paid monthly, with no commitment, or yearly at a discount.
• Your own domain: QR TIGER includes one white label domain from Premium at $37 a month; QRTada includes a custom domain from Pro at $19 a month.

What happens to your codes when a plan expires?

QR TIGER is direct about it. Its pricing page says "Your QR codes will only stop working once the plan expires" and that they are "valid only for that period of time". Its FAQ adds "If your plan expires, it will stop working", and that your data is retained for a maximum of 1 year: if you renew within that window, your codes come back. QR TIGER also sends email reminders before the expiry date. What a person sees when scanning an expired code is not described on the pages we read.

At QRTada the rule runs the other way, and it is written into our terms of sale: from your first payment, every code created or edited during a paid period keeps redirecting to its last destination with no time limit, even after you cancel, with no ads added. Cancelling and refunds

According to QR TIGER's subscription page, you cancel or downgrade yourself from My Account, Settings, Billing; Enterprise customers go through support. Refunds are described as a prorated amount returned within 7 to 10 business days on that page, and as handled case by case in the FAQ, so ask for the exact terms in writing if a refund matters to you. At QRTada, you cancel from the customer portal and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

When QR TIGER may suit you

If you need at most three dynamic codes that will each be scanned fewer than 500 times, for a short test or a small event, the free plan costs nothing and asks for no card. If you want many codes on a yearly plan and intend to keep paying for as long as the codes are printed, Advanced or Premium can be a sensible fit. The point to settle before printing is the one above: with QR TIGER, the codes depend on an active plan.

Switching to QRTada

1. Export or list your destinations from your QR TIGER account while the plan is still active.
2. Recreate the codes in QRTada, one by one, or by CSV import on Pro (up to 100 per batch).
3. Reprint your materials: a printed code points to QR TIGER's short domain, and no other service can take it over. Check size and contrast first with the QR code checker.
4. Keep the old plan running until every printed code has been replaced, since codes stop working when the plan expires.
